Shrimp Basket

Looked for a place with cajun food. Kids had the cajun pasta, one with shrimp and the other with chicken. I had the seafood basket and my husband had shrimp and catfish. Arrived and only had 2 other customers. (5pm on a sunday) We had a short wait to be seated as there was only like a few people working. We sat by the door but had enough space. Drinks came out quickly. Food was really good. The pasta had the cajun spice on it that my son didn't really enjoy...but I did. Their grilled shrimp was very well seasoned. I love sweet potatoes fries and almost ate everyone's. Meal sizes were big enough for us to take food home. Hostess kept our glasses full and checked on us regularly. It started to get busy around the time we were leaving. Definitely worth checking out.

The Shrimp Basket is a multi-location restaurant serving a variety of seafood dishes! I haven’t been to the Shrimp Basket in years and wish that I had come back sooner! Atmosphere: The restaurant has a mom-and-pop type of vibe with wooden accents in the interior. Service: Our waitress was very kind and continuously kept checking on us to refill our cups and to see if we needed anything else. Menu items: We had the Smoked Mahi Dip as our starter and would go back for that alone. The housemade chips were thick and of a softer consistency. My main was their Shrimp Tacos with a side of sweet potato fries. I will be ordering this dish again—the tacos were flavorful, and the sweet potato fries tasted fresh. We ended up sharing Funnel Cake Fries that come with raspberry, caramel, and chocolate sauces! I loved this dining experience. It felt so homey and is a great place to eat out with family and friends!

We drove from Louisiana for my birthday just on a whim. We drove from Baton Rouge to Pensacola and my goodness this food was amazing. I purchased the seafood basket and my wife the cheeseburger. You get a lot for your money and food was hot and great. Our server Ms Moose was spectacular we are coming back worth the 3.5 hour drive.

Fantastic Coconut Shrimp, Fries, Cole Slaw, Corn Nuggets, Stuffed Crab, Popcorn Shrimp, and Hush Puppies. Cold Drinks. Clean Restaurant. Wonderful Service I should have wrote her name down but I think it was Allison. Kept our drinks full and brought everything we requested quickly with a smile and happy personality. Wish we would have stopped earlier on our vacation so we could have visited more often to try more of the menu and a Bushwacker!

Update: They have resolved my issue. Thank you, shrimp basket! So, I'm updating my review to my most recent visit. I went this past Sunday, Feb 3rd, and ordered a cup of gumbo and had a Mai Tai. My bill was 16.25. The food was good, the drink was good. When I looked in my bank account the next day to review transactions, like I do on a daily basis, they charged me 67.47 instead. I've tried calling corporate, you go in circles as no one answers the phone, and I've even dropped by the location as well as called a couple of times to have this resolved to no avail. I was a regular at this location, but if they are going to overcharge me $50, I'll go somewhere else. Thankfully, I uploaded my receipt amount in the app, or i would have no proof that this is all I ordered. Don't know if this was a one-time thing or if they try to get away with it on multiple occasions, but check your bank people after you eat here.
